                               i.   Regional Fire Training Saturday December 3, 2022

This was held at our training site with 23 firefighters attending. Those attending came from East Dubuque, Menominee, Scales Mound, Monroe, WI, Bellevue, Davenport, Hampton, IL and Northern Tazewell in East Peoria.

   3.  22-1203    Speakers from the Floor

Ben Andersen – Lion’s Club Food Pantry – they assumed this three years ago. In the last three months they have been serving 260 families twice a month. They also work with River Bend Food Bank and donations from schools, churches, private donations and scouts’ food drive are other supplements. They are open every Tuesday from 5 to 7 except 5th Tuesday of the month. Gave forty complete meals for Thanksgiving. With donations they pay for fruit, perishables and personal hygiene items. Just wanted to let council know what they are doing and would like to get help from the city. Thanked the city and anyone who wants to join just call.

Annual increase of rate each year.

Alderman Hoffmann – Does insurance cover this increase? Yes, they do.
