NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL CERTAIN SURPLUS, CITY-OWNED REAL ESTATE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1701 HWY 35 N, EAST DUBUQUE, ILLINOIS

Public Notice is hereby given that on March 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at 261 Sinsinawa Avenue, East Dubuque, Illinois, 61025, the City Council of East Dubuque passed adoption of an Ordinance to grant final authorization to the City Manager to sell City-owned real estate property that has been determined to be Surplus, located at the collective address of 1701 HWY 35 N, East Dubuque, Illinois, 61025, the legal description(s) for which is/are set forth below.  The property has already, by unanimous vote of the City Council on March 3, 2025, been determined “Surplus” as defined by the Illinois Compiled Statutes.  Further, the City Council has, as of the aforementioned date, granted authority to the City Manager of East Dubuque to negotiate the sale of the property.  The subject property is intended to be used for development and associated uses in conformance with the Zoning Ordinances of the City of East Dubuque.  Information regarding the Surplus property was posted on the official website of the City of East Dubuque at:  https://www.cityofeastdubuque.com/news/surplus-for-sale
