Halloween 2020 Proclamation
To the Citizens of East Dubuque
The year of 2020 has been a challenging year for our citizens. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced a change in our lives in many ways. Our employment, our finances, our children’s education, and even our social activities have all been affected. In these difficult times, I believe it is important that we give our families a little bit of a return to happier times. Therefore, as Mayor of East Dubuque, I am happy to proclaim October 31st as Trick or Treat Night in the City of East Dubuque. Trick or Treating will be allowed from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. I would remind everyone that this is a voluntary activity for both the children, their parents, and for our citizens giving out the treats. It is perfectly acceptable to not participate if you have health concerns. I would also ask our citizens to wear masks and observe social distancing when appropriate.
Happy Halloween To the Citizens of East Dubuque and Stay Safe!
